London, UK – 13/11/24 – The third annual PICCASO Awards will take place on Tuesday, 12 November 2024 at the prestigious JW Marriott Grosvenor House in the Ballroom, Park Lane, London. The event will be hosted by Julia Streets, an evangelist on innovation and change, and will recognise outstanding contributions in the dynamic and fast-growing sectors of data, privacy and information governance across 16 award categories.

Established three years ago, the PICCASO Awards were created to celebrate those who excel in leading and innovating in responsible data usage across all sizes and sectors of organisation. The Awards aim to elevate and shine a light on the community to continue striving for excellence by acknowledging the achievements of industry and individuals.

Past winners include notable organisations such as the Vodafone, Virgin Atlantic, Royal Mail, the UK Cabinet Office, the University of Portsmouth, Lidl, Privacy Partnership Group, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, SafePorter Secure Limited, and Stephenson Harwood LLP.

"The PICCASO Awards Europe recognise the people making an outstanding contribution to this dynamic and fast-growing sector—from the professionals ensuring their companies meet increasingly complex legal demands to the academics and engineers pushing data and privacy thought leadership and innovative protections forward," said Vivienne Artz, Vice Chair & Founder of the PICCASO Awards.

Paul Jordan, Chair of PICCASO added: “With this third edition of the PICCASO Awards Europe, we continue to answer the industry’s call; bringing together the very finest the data industry has to offer across multiple disciplines and showcasing what good practice and success looks like in an increasingly complex digital economy”.

The PICCASO community values the importance of exchanging ‘know how’, insights, clarity and explanation on specific data, privacy information governance topics, focused on distinguishing between legal requirements and operational implementation, with the aim of promoting greater understanding of how to achieve optimal outcomes based on good practice and thought leadership. By showcasing and celebrating “what good looks like”,
PICCASO can help define best practice and empower organisations to embody responsible information strategies.
